Honor those who served in the U.S. military by joining The Frontera Land Alliance for a Veteran’s Day hike and breakfast on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Knapp Land close to Castner Range.
Free breakfast will also be served at 8:00 a.m., to all veterans who attend, regardless if they participate in the hike.
Hikers will meet at the corner of Mountain View Drive and Zircon Drive for the hourlong hike that will be begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. Janaé Renaud Field, Executive Director of The Frontera Land Alliance, and Scott Cutler, president of the El Paso/Trans-Pecos Audubon Society and a volunteer with The Frontera Land Alliance, will lead the hike.
It is encouraged that hikers bring plenty of water, a hat to wear, sturdy shoes, sunblock and layered clothing.
