It's Latino Conservation Week!! Join The Frontera Land Alliance and the El Paso Museum of Archaeology with a special guest, Science Educator, Dr. Paul Hyder for this night full of nocturnal insects!

Join us for a nature walk on the trails of the El Paso Museum of Archaeology. We will be searching and exploring the Chihuahuan Desert's nightlife, specifically nocturnal insects during our walk, and view local insects during a mothing activity!

This event is FREE but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

About the trail: The museum trails are easy/moderate trails. The ground is leveled with loose gravel. We will not be walking up any mountains. The length of the walk should last up to an hour.

Parking: El Paso Museum of Archaeology parking lot.

What to Bring:

  • Optional flashlight/nightlight/headlamp/UV lights

  • Weather appropriate clothing

  • Sturdy shoes

  • Plenty of water

  • Curiosity!
