Frontera Land Alliance

Dear Supporter,

A simple way that you can help spread the word about conservation of water and land is to volunteer your time at the KTEP fall pledge drive. As a volunteer, on behalf of Frontera, KTEP will announce The Frontera Land Alliance as a phone bank volunteer. This is a great way to get our name out there and to give back to KTEP.

If you are interested in volunteering at the phone bank see the details below and reply to Joe Torres and to Just be sure to say that you are volunteering on behalf of Frontera!

Re: Recruiting Volunteers for KTEP’s Fall Membership Drive October 8 –October 12.

KTEP, UTEP’s public radio station, needs volunteers to answer phones during its spring membership drive Monday October 8 through Friday October 12. The drive raises the funds needed to pay for a portion of KTEP’s programming costs.

Volunteers work two or three hour shifts, answering phones and completing easy-to-follow pledge donation forms.

Shifts are available Monday through Friday from 6–9 a.m., 9-12 Noon, 12-2p, 2p-4p, and 4-7 p.m.

Volunteers and organizations are recognized and thanked over the air during the pledge drive. Volunteers should be at least 16 years of age.

The pledge drive takes place at the KTEP Studios, Room 206, in the Cotton Memorial Building on the UTEP campus. Cotton Memorial is on University Avenue across from the Centennial Museum and the Chihuahua Gardens on the West side of the Campus. Look for the replica of an old frontier fort next to the museum  and we are right across the street. Also look for the KTEP Banner.
