Wetland Wanderings: Discovering Aquatic Life

Wetland Wanderings: Discovering Aquatic Life

Join us for a unique event in partnership with Friends of the Rio Bosque! Explore the marvels of aquatic life and learn about the ecological advantages of wetlands. The presence of water organisms plays a crucial role in assessing ecosystem health, and we're eager to assess the status of our local wetland, which has been a restoration project for decades.

 What we will do:

  • Walk to the canal to collect water samples and bring them back for dissection and analysis

  • Examine aquatic life under microscopes, aiding us in evaluating the overall ecosystem health
